Dips, creams and spreads in different variations

This recipe is very quick and easy to make. Just stir the ingredients well in a bowl with a spoon or a whisk!

The dips and spreads are tasty and you can use them in many ways. You can use the basic recipe to make completely different variations in terms of taste, simply by stirring in different seasoning mixtures.

The basis for your dips and spreads

As basic ingredient you can use one of the following products:

  • yogurt,
  • sour cream,
  • cream fraîche,
  • cream cheese or
  • labnah

You can also combine various of these products, of course!

Make sauces in no time

If you add more liquid, it becomes a delicious sauce that you can serve with a salad, for example.

Simply mix in buttermilk or kefir according to your taste and feel free to experiment with other ingredients as well! When heated, it makes a delicious sauce for potatoes, vegetables or fish.

Dip with Bouillon

Tangy yogurt sauce with Moore than Spice Bouillon

This dip is very similar in color to the Poseidon dip, as both contain a lot of green herbs. In terms of taste, however, they differ significantly.

Ingredients

250 ml yogurt or
ingredient of choice
1 heaped tbsp. Bouillon
  juice and zest from ½ lemon
a pinch of salt
a pinch of Black Gold or simply black pepper

Dip with Louisiana 18

Tangy yogurt sauce with Moore than Spice Louisiana 18

For this dip I use orange juice (preferably freshly squeezed). Then you can also use the zest!

Ingredients

250 ml cream cheese or
ingredient of choice
1 heaped tbsp. Louisiana 18
  juice and zest from ½ orange
  fresh herbs, finely chopped (if desired)
a pinch of salt
a pinch of Black Gold or simply black pepper

Dip with Poseidon

This dip is very similar in color to the Bouillon dip, as both contain a lot of green herbs. In terms of taste, however, they differ significantly.

Dip with Universal Dry Rub

Tangy yogurt sauce with Moore than Spice Universal Dry Rub

The dip with the Universal Dry Rub also has a red base tone.

250 ml cream fraîche or
ingredient of choice
1 heaped tbsp. Universal Dry Rub
  juice and zest from ½ lemon
  fresh herbs, finely chopped (if desired)
a pinch of salt
a pinch of Black Gold or simply black pepper
