Birtie always had jars of homemade stocks and broths on hand, that was a given. I, too, have always made them without thinking much about it. Many cooks say “the secret is in the sauce”… I say “the secret is in the ingredients for the sauce”.
Most of you don’t have time to make fresh broth as often as you need it, and I suggest you stay away from commercial options.
If you know anything about store-bought bouillon or dehydrated vegetable powders, then you also know why I don’t want anything to do with them. The amount of salt, monosodium glutamate (MSG), and hydrogenated oil (trans fat/palm oil) that they contain just isn’t something I want in my life.
That’s why I created this Bouillon; for those of us who prefer pure flavor of vegetables without additives, preservatives, or excess amount of salt. This is a welcome shortcut and kitchen-aid, all-in-one, you determine how much salt and pepper you want.
Mix the ingredients in a bowl to quickly create a tasty dip. The dip with Bouillon is vegetarian.
